1. Holding Tanks- The most obvious place for smells in a RV would be from the black tank but smells can also be coming from the gray tank. Outside of making sure the both tanks are cleaned out after each camping trip, it's also important to put treatment in both the RVs black and gray tanks. We have tried a lot of different types of tank treatment over the years and our favorite black/gray tank treatment is Happy Camper. It comes in 3 different sizes; 18, 64 or 130 treatments.

2. Moisture- Excess moisture in the RV can cause a musty smell, especially when the RV is in storage/not in use. Excess moisture in a RV can also cause mold. To prevent this, we use a small dehumidifier to help remove any excess moisture. Below are 2 dehumidifier options depending on which one works best for your situation.
3. Refrigerator/Food Smells- Opening up the refrigerator or garbage can will probably allow smells to escape. I have provided a link to our favorite garbage can that doesn't take up too much space and has a locking lid. We also throw some baking soda into the Frig/Freezer to help alleviate any food smells.
4. General Odors- To combat general odors in the RV, we attach small car air fresheners to the air conditioning vents throughout the RV. Here is a link to the ones we use in our camper.
